  • What does my ticket include?

    Enjoy full festival access from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, along with a festival cup to take home. Indulge in complimentary tastings from a variety of distilleries and take the chance to purchase your favorite gin bottles on-site. Enjoy live performances by musicians throughout the day.

  • Are there age restrictions for attending the festival?

    Yes, attendees must be 18 years or older to enter the festival. ID checks will be conducted at the entrance.

  • Can I bring my children to the festival?

    The festival is an R18 event.

  • Is this event wheelchair accessible?

    Yes - but please be aware that this is an outdoor event taking place on grass, the ground may be bumpy and sloped in areas.

  • Can I get a refund if I can't attend the festival?

    Unfortunately, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

  • Do I need to print my ticket or can I show it on my phone?

    You have the option to display your ticket on your smartphone or bring a printed copy for scanning at the entrance. Please consider the environment before printing.

  • I purchased a ticket but haven't received it. What should I do?

    Please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still can't find it, please contact us at info@nzigf.co.nz for assistance.

  • Is parking available at the festival?

    Parking is available at Butler Green, there is also plenty of parking around the venue.

  • Is there food available at the festival

    Yes, we offer a variety of food vendors that cater to different dietary requirements.

  • Can I bring my own alcohol and food to the festival?

    No, outside alcohol and food is strictly prohibited at the festival as we encourage you to purchase this inside. Security checks will be in place at the entrance.

  • Are pets allowed at the festival?

    Pets are not permitted at the festival, with the exception of service animals.

  • Can I bring my own shade and seating?

    There will be limited number of seats provided during the event. Feel free to bring your own shade (such as umbrellas) and seating (like folding chairs or blankets)

  • Is re-entry allowed if I leave the festival grounds?

    No, re-entry is not allowed once you leave the festival grounds, we kindly ask that you bring everything you need with you upon entry.

  • Can I buy tickets at the door?

    If the event does not sell out, door sales will be available. To ensure you don't miss out, we encourage you to purchase your ticket in advance. Purchase tickets here

  • What is the festival’s policy on smoking?

    Smoking and vaping is only permitted in designated smoking areas within the festival grounds. Please look for signage indicating these areas and be mindful of other attendees. Smoking is strictly prohibited outside of this area.

  • What types of payment do you accept?

    All stalls will accept card payments only.

  • How does it work with the bottles of gin I purchase at the festival?

    Although we understand it’s tempting to open your bottles straight away, by law these must not be opened or consumed until you’ve left the festival. If you buy any bottles while you're there, they are taken to the entry gate for safekeeping. Please collect your purchases from here when you leave.

  • Will there be other non-gin drinks available?

    We will have a well-stocked bar offering a selection of beer, wine, cider and soft drinks.

  • When do the gates open?

    The gates open at 12:00 PM, giving you full access to all the festival activities until 6:00 PM.
